(“Piaggio Fast Forward,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), which policy applies to our processing of any personal information we collect through our websites (collectively, the “Site”) we use to provide information about our company and our transportation and robotics products and services, including our gita™ robot (the “Services”), and to facilitate the sale of our Services to you.

Personal Information That You Provide:

We collect personal information when you provide it to us or otherwise interact with the Services, such as when:

  • acting as a user of our Services, you contact us with inquiries or purchase a gita™ robot, you register to create an account with us, or you subscribe to our newsletter. The personal information collected during these interactions may vary based on what you choose to share with us, but it will generally include name, email address, postal address, and the financial information necessary to ensure payments can be processed by the ecommerce provider and payment processor we employ, such as Shopify or Stripe (each, a “Third Party Processor”). Accordingly, in addition to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service, information related to your purchases is also processed according to such Third Party Processors’ privacy policies.

  • acting as an administrator of our Services, you register to create an administrator account with us, or you submit a support ticket to us. The personal information collected during these interactions will generally include your name, email address, and an optional phone number. The personal information we collect about you may also include the financial information necessary to ensure payments for your access to the PFF pro web portal can be processed by our above-mentioned ecommerce provider and payment Third Party Processors.

In certain circumstances providing personal information is optional. However, if you choose not to provide personal information that is needed to use some features of our Services, you may be unable to use those features.

Personal Information We Collect Through Our Social Media Pages:

We have pages on social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn (“Social Media Pages”). When you interact with our Social Media Pages, we will collect personal information that you elect to provide to us, such as your contact details. In addition, the companies that host our Social Media Pages may provide us with aggregate information and analytics regarding our users’ use of our Social Media Pages.

Personal Information We Receive Automatically From Your Use of the Services:

When you visit, use and interact with the Services, we may receive certain information about your visit, use or interactions. For example, we may receive information on the number of people that visit the Site or use the Services, peak hours of visits or usage, which page(s) are visited, the domains our visitors come from (e.g., google.com, yahoo.com, etc.), and which browsers people use to access the Site (e.g., Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer, etc.), broad geographical information, and navigation pattern.

In particular, the following information is created and automatically logged in our systems:

Log Data

Information that your browser automatically sends whenever you visit the Site (“log data”). Log data includes your Internet Protocol address, mobile ID, browser type and settings, the date and time of your request, and how you interacted with the Site.

Device Information

Includes name of the device, operating system, and browser you are using. Information collected may depend on the type of device you use and its settings.

Usage Information

We collect information about how you use our Services, such as the types of content that you view or engage with, the features you use, the actions you take, and the time, frequency and duration of your activities. In particular, we may collect information related to your or, if your access our Services as an administrator, your users’ use of gita™, including distance, location trends, cycle time, and information and data registered by the accelerometers and other instruments used by gita™.

Cookies or mobile cookies:

We use cookies to operate and administer our Site, gather usage data on our Site and improve your experience on it. A “cookie” or “mobile cookie” (as applicable) is a piece of information sent to your browser by a website you visit or a mobile app you access or use. Cookies or mobile cookies (as applicable) can be stored on your computer or mobile device for different periods of time. Analytics:

We use may use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”), or other similar analytics providers. Google Analytics and similar service providers use cookies to help us analyze how users interact with the Site and enhance your experience when you use the Site. Online Tracking and Do Not Track Signals:

We and our third party service providers, including Facebook, may use cookies, pixels or other tracking technologies to collect information about your browsing activities over time and across different websites following your use of the Site (behavioral tracking) and use that information to send you targeted advertisements.   • Promotional Offers from Piaggio Fast Forward

If you do not wish to have your email address used by Piaggio Fast Forward to promote our products or services, you can opt-out by following the link to that effect in the marketing communication, or by sending us an email stating your request to privacy@piaggiofastforward.com. If we have sent you a promotional email, you may send us a return email asking to be omitted from future email distributions. This opt out does not apply to information provided to Piaggio Fast Forward as a result of a product purchase, warranty registration, product service experience or other transactions.

  • Targeted Advertising by Piaggio Fast Forward

If you do not want us to use information that we collect or that you provide to us to deliver advertisements according to our advertisers' target-audience preferences, you can opt-out by following the procedure prescribed in the marketing email.

We do not control third parties' collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way.

2. How We Use Personal Information

If you provide personal information for a certain reason, we may use the personal information in connection with the reason for which it was provided. For instance, if you contact us by email, we will use the personal information you provide to answer your question or resolve your problem. Further, we may use personal information for the following purposes:

In addition, from time to time, we may analyze the general behavior and characteristics of users of our Services and share aggregated and/or de-identified information like general user statistics with prospective business partners. We may collect aggregated and/or de-identified information through the Service, through cookies, and through other means described in this Privacy Policy.

Marketing

We may use your personal information to contact you to tell you about products or services we believe may be of interest to you. For instance, if you elect to provide your email or telephone number, we may use that information to send you special offers. You may opt out of receiving emails by following the instructions contained in each promotional email we send you. You can also control the marketing emails and/or text messages you receive by updating your settings through your account. In addition, if at any time you do not wish to receive future marketing communications, you may contact us. If you unsubscribe from our marketing lists, you will no longer receive marketing communications but we will continue to contact you regarding management of your account, other administrative matters, and to respond to your requests.

3. Sharing and Disclosure of Personal Information

In certain circumstances we may share your personal information with third parties without further notice to you, unless required by the law, as set forth below:

Pro Tools Administrators 

If applicable, in connection with the management of your use of gita robots by an administrator in your organization using the PFF Pro web portal, we may need to share your personal information with such administrators, such as your name, username, email address and, if you have chosen to also provide it to us, your phone number, to assist them in connection with their and your use of the Services. 

Vendors and Service Providers

To assist us in meeting business operations needs and to perform certain services and functions, we may share your personal information with vendors and service providers, including providers of hosting services, cloud services and other information technology services providers, event management services, email communication software and email newsletter services, advertising and marketing services, ecommerce platform providers, payment processors, customer relationship management and customer support services, technical support providers, and web analytics services (for more details on the third parties that place cookies through the Site, please see the “Cookies” section above). Pursuant to our instructions, these parties will access, process and/or store personal information in the course of performing their duties to us. We take commercially reasonable steps to ensure our service providers adhere to the Security standards we apply to your personal information. These third parties are also contractually obligated to keep your personal information confidential, use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them, and to process your personal information with the same standards set out in this Privacy Policy.

Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing due diligence, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of all or a portion of our assets, or transition of service to another provider, your personal information and other information may be shared in the diligence process with counterparties and others assisting with the transaction and transferred to a successor or affiliate as part of that transaction along with other assets.

Legal Requirements

If required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements, (ii) protect and defend our rights or property, (iii) prevent fraud, (iv) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Services, or the public, or (v) protect against legal liability.

Affiliates

We may share your personal information with our affiliates, meaning an entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with Piaggio Fast Forward. Our affiliates may use the personal information we share in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.

4. Canadian Residents: International Transfers

If you are based in Canada please note that our company is based in the United States and that when you connect to our Site or when we provide you with our Services we will transfer your personal information to the United States for processing in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We will also transfer outside of Canada the personal information about you that we collect, that we receive from third parties or that you provide to us as described in this Privacy Policy to contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business (such as analytics and search engine providers that assist us with Site improvement and optimization).

When we transfer your personal information in and to a foreign country, these countries have different privacy laws that may or may not be as comprehensive as Canadian law. In these circumstances, the governments, courts, law enforcement, or regulatory agencies of that country may be able to obtain access to your personal information through the laws of the foreign country. Whenever we engage a service provider, we require that its privacy and security standards adhere to this policy and applicable Canadian privacy legislation. 5. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, while we have a business need to do so, or as required by law (e.g. for tax, legal, accounting or other purposes), whichever is the longer.

We may request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and your right to access, and to provide you with the personal information that we hold about you or make your requested changes. Applicable law may allow or require us to refuse to provide you with access to some or all of the personal information that we hold about you, or we may have destroyed, erased, or made your personal information anonymous in accordance with our record retention obligations and practices. If we cannot provide you with access to your personal information, we will inform you of the reasons why, subject to any legal or regulatory restrictions.

Canadian Residents: We will provide access to your personal information, subject to exceptions set out in applicable privacy legislation. Examples of such exceptions include:

7. Canadian Residents: Withdrawing your consent

Please note that if you withdraw your consent we may not be able to provide you with a particular product or service. We will explain the impact to you at the time to help you with your decision.

8. Your State Privacy Rights

State consumer privacy laws may provide their residents with additional rights regarding our use of their personal information. 

California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users of our Site that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Nevada residents who wish to exercise their sale opt-out rights under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A may submit a request to this designated address: privacy@piaggiofastforward.com.

Virginia residents who wish to exercise their right under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA) to opt out of the processing of their personal data for targeted advertising, personal data sales, or automated decision-making, including profiling, may submit a request to this designated address: privacy@piaggiofastforward.com.

9. Children

Our Services are not directed to children who are under the age of 13. Piaggio Fast Forward does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided personal information to us through the Services please contact us and we will endeavor to delete that information from our databases.

10. Links to Other Websites

The Site may contain links to other websites not operated or controlled by Piaggio Fast Forward, including social media services (“Third Party Sites”). The information that you share with Third Party Sites will be governed by the specific privacy policies and terms of service of the Third Party Sites and not by this Privacy Policy. By providing these links we do not imply that we endorse or have reviewed these sites. Please contact the Third Party Sites directly for information on their privacy practices and policies.

11. Security

You use the Services at your own risk. We implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect personal information both online and offline from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. However, no Internet or e-mail transmission is ever fully secure or error free. In particular, e-mail sent to or from us may not be secure. Therefore, you should take special care in deciding what information you send to us via the Services or e-mail. Please keep this in mind when disclosing any personal information to us via the Internet.
