Yep, you read that right!

Meet the newest Droid in the gita family, G1T4-M1N1, a friendly, dependable, and eager-to-please helper droid who is ready to assist you. G1T4-M1N1 is built with the same intuitive tech as our other gita robots and is equipped with cameras and sensors that allow it to identify its leader and follow them with ease, but this one comes with an all-new, STAR WARS™-inspired design.

G1T4-M1N1’s design was heavily inspired by the Astromech Droids that exist in the STAR WARS™ universe. When designing our interpretation of an Astromech Droid, we began by studying the planets, vehicles and Droids of the STAR WARS™ universe to develop an authentic backstory and personality for G1T4-M1N1. Once we had the Droid’s origin story, we determined how its environment and purpose would influence its design from colors to sounds and everything in between.

G1T4-M1N1 communicates to its leader via a custom library of light patterns and Droid sounds like beeps, boops and pings. These sounds communicate things like acceleration, deceleration, pair or park status, etc. and are reminiscent of the sounds of other Droids from STAR WARS™. The light patterns also communicate things like battery life, park or pair status, software updates, and more.

Just like gitamini and gitaplus, G1T4-M1N1 has a cargo bin that can hold up to 20 lb of gear, making it the perfect sidekick to help you take on your day (or follow you into battle). It also has a built-in Bluetooth® speaker that can stream music, podcasts, and encoded messages from across the galaxy. A loyal companion, G1T4-M1N1 is quite agile and can move politely and nimbly through tight spaces, avoid obstacles, and adjust its speed according to its leader. The Droid’s sturdy design allows it to seamlessly navigate across all sorts of terrains so you’re free to travel throughout the galaxy as you please. G1T4-M1N1 receives over-the-air updates based on user feedback, so it’s always getting smarter.
